If you’re in San Francisco on September 6th, please come to my exciting release party at the city’s best comicshoppe, Mission Comics & Art.
I’ll be lovingly signing copies of (In A Sense) Lost & Found, and I’ll have with me cheaper zines and whatsits. Or just come by and say hi, there’s no pressure to buy anything!
Also, I finally did an Inkstuds interview, so you can hear me mumble about these things for a bit too long. The first half is particularly tedious, not sure why I had to bring up so much childhood poetry-recital.

I just got home from TCAF! It was really fun. I saw lots of friends. I met cool new folks. I bought beautiful books & things. I ate lots of poutine. I participated in a lovely reading, and also gave a talk with Annie Mok about collaboration.
If you came out to those events, thanks! If you came by my table during the festival, thanks! TCAF is always super-feel-good and this year was no exception.

Hey SF artists,
I’m putting together a little show at Brewlab for their March 8th event, celebrating International Women’s Day, and raising money for The Women’s Building (you know the one). I’m looking for local lady artists to show their work for a night!
Open theme. New work, old work, whatever. I’m looking for small, ready-to-hang wall pieces. If you’re interested, please email firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 2/28 with a photo of your proposed piece(s). 100% of proceeds from sold pieces will go to you (the artist), but we encourage you to donate a portion to The Women’s Building in keeping with the theme and spirit of the day.
Brewlab events are always a blast, full of good cheer and great beer. Come over! Tell yo friends!
I’ll be showing work in “Figure Ground” at Eleanor Harwood Gallery in SF this Friday along with some other great artists, curated by Gideon Chase. Flyer art by Mathew Zefeldt. Please come say hello.

Double Punch has closed its doors
It is a sad day. As of yesterday, Double Punch is no longer a physical entity. But it survives in spirit as long as we hold it in our hearts!
I am going to take down Best in Show today, a month early. A lot of the work has sold, but if you are interested in having some dog art to call your own, please email email@example.com. I believe just about every piece is logged on this tumblr.
THANK YOU to all the artists who made my job a pretty sweet one, it was a pleasure working with y’all. Thanks to everyone who came out to see shows and support (virtually or otherwise). Thanks to JB for continued install/uninstall assistance and unwavering moral support. Thanks to Omar for the best gig ever.
I’ll keep this tumblr going with other relevant art happenings I’m a part of or believe to be of note.
Happy New Year, all!
Jason Furie for Best in Show
